 | Carola Kriese (vocals) started with vocal training in a children’s choir when she was 7 years old and began at the same time to play the flute. Later she played keyboard for several years. Since the age of 19 she had vocal and music lessons with different teachers. When she discovered her passion for Jazz and Blues music, she finally started to explore the world of improvisation and alternative ways of vocal expressions. You can find elements from different genres as pop, rock, jazz, blues and latin in the songs she writes and performes with BLAZZTIME. “It doesn't matter, whether the song is a ballad or it is up tempo, whether it requires a gentle or a powerful strong voice when performing it. It is all about enchanting the audience, making them focus their attention on the emotion performed and finally to see it in their eyes.” |
